Insider Tips Must Be Avoided
An important stock market for dummies rule that applies to all investors is to understand that insider tips should be avoided. Some investors believe the more tips they can obtain, the more successful they will be. However, there are two flaws to this. One, if you obtain a stock tip, chances are that it is already publicly known and you missed the boat. Second, if you obtain a stock tip and it’s not publicly known, it is illegal to use that information for investing purposes. And you will get caught.
